"Fundamental Analogue IC Design" training course, - Limerick, Ireland, 14 - 18 Jan 2008:
- Course OVERVIEW
- LOCATION: University of Limerick Campus, Limerick, Ireland. Click here for Location Map and Hotel Details.
- COURSE AIMS: To introduce participants to the fundamentals of analogue/mixed-signal IC design, and the underlying semiconductor physics principles. Participants will gain an understanding of basic analogue circuit principles, and the design tools employed, enabling them to become immediately productive in a mixed-signal environment.
- TARGET AUDIENCE: Primarily graduate analogue/mixed-signal designers, and Digital/ASIC designers who want to switch to mixed signal design. Product, Test, and Reliability engineers will also benefit from the design and semiconductor-physics focus on the latest 0.13um/0.09um technologies.
- COURSE TUTOR: The course is presented by Cratlon CEO Mr. Tim Cummins who has over 20 years industrial R & D experience, holds 11 US Patents and has published 7 research papers in the area of mixed-signal IC design. He also lectures Semiconductor Physics on the VLSI M.Eng programme at University of Limerick, and is currently designing 1.2V mixed-signal circuits on 0.13um CMOS.
- COURSE FORMAT: Course consists of 5 days X four 1.5 hour sessions per day.
* 70% is presentation material
* 30% hands-on content, primarily the 2.00 - 3.30pm afternoon session; each participant is provided with a PC and software to run schematic entry, SPICE circuit simulation, and layout including DRC's & LVS.
- COST per person: €1950 (1-2 delegates), €1700 (3+ delegates per company/institution).
